A media player can make all the difference between a successful karaoke party and a complete failure. To make it successful, you need to compile a proper playlist, make sure the songs will not repeat and of course, you need lyrics. OkeOke.Net Karaoke will help you organize your media files, create and save playlists, add sound effects and much more. It offers everything you need for a successful and fun karaoke night.

Downloading the setup file may take a bit longer. It is 38.4 Mb large, but once it is downloaded, you will have to go through a standard setup process, which takes less than a minute. The software is compatible with most Windows versions, older or newer, it has low system requirements and you will not have to install additional audio codecs before running the program.

The interface has a modern and sleek design and its functions are very easy to use. It consists of a list, where you can add your audio files, various filtering options and search functions, as well as playback controls and more. You can add audio or video files of various formats and edit their tag information on a separate window. After populating the library with media files and adding tag information, you can filter them to show tracks that contain a certain number of words, male, female, group or other type of singers, solo or multiple singers or favorite tracks. Alternatively, you can use the software's search function to find tracks instantly.

OkeOke.Net Karaoke can be used in a very comfortable manner. Filters and other options are displayed in pop up menus, which appear if you just hover with the mouse cursor over large colored buttons. You can also hover with the cursor over the media files to reveal a button for adding them to a playlist, which can be displayed by hovering over an arrow button, on the right edge of the interface. Clicking this button will lock the playlist into place so it will not slide out of the interface when you place your cursor in a different area.

When you play a song, its lyrics will be displayed on a separate window, which resembles a media player, due to its Play/Pause button, volume control and progress bar. Besides the playback buttons, on the lower edge of the interface, you can find a recording option, which you only need to click once to start recording your voice and again to stop. The recording will be saved automatically as an MP3 file, in a folder that can be selected in the general settings menu. The volume can be adjusted on a small window, after clicking one of the options, located in the same area. You can also insert various sound effects, like applause, drums, horn, scream or bird whistle, by clicking one of the buttons in the volume control window.
